Quality Policy

CYENS – CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE quality policy is to achieve sustainable, profitable growth by providing high quality research on interactive media, smart systems and emerging technologies and to empower knowledge and technology transfer in the region. This is achieved through adoption of a system of procedures that reflect the competence of the organization to the society. Achievement of this policy involves all staff, resulting in a continually improving working environment. To achieve and maintain the required level of assurance CYENS CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE retains responsibility for the Quality System with routine inspections.

The scope of CYENS activities under ISO 9001-2015 is: Center of Excellence on Research and Innovation  

The objectives of the Quality Management System are:

  • To rank CYENS as among the best research centers of excellence empowering knowledge and technology transfer in the region
  • To support innovation and economic growth in Cyprus
  • To investicate capabilities that improve the RTDI landscape in the surrounding region
  • To support the development of a business and innovation cluster
  • To maintain an effective Quality Management System
  • Follow local, European and international legislation
  • Monitor, measure and evaluate critical parameters and processes to ensure the quality, health and safety of employees and visitors
  • Ensure the continuous consulting and participation of employees and their representatives in the issues affecting them
